Oval Profile Cylinder Locks
Oval profile cylinder mortice locks offer a flexible locking option using oval profile cylinders. There are several locking options as locks can be designed to lock one side only or both sides. Also cylinder locks can be designed to operate one side with a key and the other side with a thumb turn. This facility is useful for safety in large store rooms and for facilitating escape on exit routes.
Oval profile locks can be master keyed allowing greater flexibility than traditional lever locks. From a simple office block suite where a master key can operate all the locks but each lock has its own individual key, to more complex master keyed suites like hospitals and universities where several blocks of rooms can be operated under individual keys, controlled by a master key, then in turn the master keys controlled by Grand Master Keys.
