Marshalltown MXS series plasterers finishing trowels have an aluminium alloy mounting and are very light, but as strong as steel. Since Marshalltown Trowels are not welded, there is no embrittlement problem to cause premature breaking.The extra large toe rivet adds additional strength at this point.
Stainless steel finishing trowels similar to the MXS series. The blade is made from stainless steel which is easier to clean. These trowels do not corrode and are therefore much longer lasting.
The curved wooden handle is held firmly by a nut and washer.
Plasterers shaped wood handle.
