Garage Door Holder Model 1010 for Fixing to Wide Lintels from Cookson Hardware.

Garage door holders are designed to hold open side hung garage doors at approximately 90 degrees. The door is released from the held open position by pulling the pull cord. Ideal for situations where the door cannot be propped open, the holder engages and will hold the door open until the cord is pulled to release it. This product is not suitable for fire doors. Supplied complete with fixings. Sold in single units (half pairs).
The 1010 model is suitable for fixing to the underside of wide lintels.
The lintel fixing plate is approximately 50mm x 95mm.

Fixing instructions;
- Open the door to right angles
- Fix bracket "A" to lintel at distance of 430mm from the centre of the hinge pin to the centre of the swivel plate. Ensure bracket is fixed with front edge of the top swivelling fixing plate parallel to, but set back from, the door rebate
- While the door is open at right angles, fix bracket "B" to the door ensuring the bar is horizontal
- If the door is required to open wider than 90 degrees, both brackets must be moved nearer to the hinge
