Freedor is an overhead door closer which makes opening and closing a fire door effortless. A wireless device, it allows you to place your door open in any position and closes on the sound of the alarm. Freedor is a free swing closer which means that the door is easy to push open without the usual resistance presented by a door closer.

How the Freedor works;

Freedor is a unique wireless device installed at the top of a fire door that allows the door to swing freely, be left in any position, but will close the door when the fire alarm sounds. Freedor needs to hear a fire alarm verifying the sound over a 14 second period. Freedor will then close the door preventing the spread of fire and smoke throughout the building.
