These cutters are turned, milled and ground from a solid piece of Tungsten Carbide and provide the greatest durability when used under stress load conditions.

• Offer better plunge cutting characteristics than TCT.
• Many more re-sharpening's can be obtained from STC tools.
• A harder grade of carbide is used as the tool is not brazed.
• Two flute - finer finish.
• Cutters are chosen for fast free cutting, when cutting speed takes preference over finish.
• All cutters of 2mm diameter and below should have a minimum of 1.0mm depth of cut per pass.
• Small diameter cutters should be handled with care and shallow passes taken.
• Single flute cutters should not be used in eccentric chucks.
