Aesthetically designed push to open cable lock with cut key locking for security. A stylishly designed universal solution for windows and doors where a restricted opening is required. The ERA Safety Locking Restrictor is a child resistant locking device for windows and balcony doors compliant with BS EN 16281:2013. The ERA Safety Locking Restrictor is suitable for domestic and commercial applications. It is suitable for timber, PVC and aluminium windows and doors up to a maximum size of 2100mm high x 1000mm wide.

Finish: White with white cable.

Additional Information
Operation -
Key required to lock and unlock.

To Lock - Push button in and insert cable into lock body. Let go of the button and pull cable until you hear a click. Check cable is secure. Insert key and turn 180 degrees clockwise to lock. Check cable is secure again and remove key.

To Unlock - Insert the key and turn 180 degrees anti-clockwise. Remove the key, press the button to release while pulling out the cable.

Security Tip - Never leave keys in reach of children or inserted in the lock.

Maintenance - Use a moist cloth to clean all types of finish, household abrasives or solvents may affect the surface finish. All moving parts should be lightly lubricated using a light non-acidic mineral oil (e.g. “3 in 1”) twice per year and the surface cleaned with a soft damp cloth. The product may need to be adjusted and fixings tightened to ensure a satisfactory operation.
